IDEA Foundation runs study centers in communities in urban slums of Pune and Rural areas of Pune districts. The objective of these programme is to identify out of school children and to enrol them in school and to provide need based assistance to them, to minimize school drop out through community level interventions and to support underprivileged and needy children to complete their education. Around 1000 children from 1st to 7th standard are being benefiting from IDEA’s study center every year. There is a remarkable improvement in attendance, achievement level and interest of children in regular schooling. IDEA’s regular interaction with the parents and other activities in the community has resulted in parents pro activeness towards children’s education. YOUR donation of Rs 1000/- will help us to meet the teachers’ Honorarium cost for 10 children for a month.
