IDEA Foundation runs study centers in communities and zilla parishad schools of Pune and Raigad districts. The objectives of this program is to identify out of school children and to enroll them in school & to provide need-based assistance to them, to minimize school drop-out through school and community level interventions and to support underprivileged and needy children to complete their education. Around 800 underprivileged children from 1st to 7th standard are benefiting from IDEA’s study center. There is a remarkable improvement in their attendance, achievement level and interest of children in regular schooling. IDEA’s regular interaction with the parents and other activities in the community has resulted in parents proactiveness towards children’s education. The total cost of running a study centre for a month is Rs.4,000 for a child for a year. Your donation will help us to provide the following at the center: Monthly test material and teachers training- Rs. 500 Cost of teachers Honorarium- Rs. 2,500 Nutritious snacks to children once in a week- Rs. 500 Administration cost- Rs. 500
